Mission Statement
Founded in 1915, the Alliance Française du Manitoba is an independent non-profit organization, registered in 1980 as a language shool, under a charitable organization number and its purpose is the diffusion of French Language and of francophone culture.
About This Cause
The Alliance Française du Manitoba has developed and evolved since its first meetings were held at the University of Manitoba in 1915. An important turning point was passed in 1984 when it officially became a language school thanks to courageous volunteers… Today, 1.000 students and members of all ages are learning French at the Alliance each year and more than 9.000 people enjoy cultural activities suc as movie screenings, lectures, music concerts...
