Mission Statement
BGC Cranbrook (legal name: Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club) is the largest provider of child and youth services in Cranbrook and currently operates two full day child care centres, two after-school programs, and one youth centre, providing care and support to over 120 children/youth every week-day. The Club has a 47-year history of providing excellent child and youth care, including a focus on healthy nutrition, physical activity, leadership development, and outdoor adventures. Our small fleet of 15-passenger vans allows us to pick up at schools for our after-school programs and have lots of field trips in the community and surrounding area. BGC Cranbrook is a member in good-standing of BGC Canada (formerly Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada) and is one of only seven BGC's in British Columbia. Our staff members are well-trained and participate in on-going professional development.
