About This Cause
Lynnwood Community League is thrilled to be working with Lynnwood School to revitalize our park area. Through community consultations, the following pillars developed as the priorities that guide our decisions. Accessibility - making it truly accessible for kiddos (and adults!) with mobility or sensory challenges including a path from the school directly to the playground as well as poured rubber. Community Connection - plenty of places to sit, socialize, wander, and relax. The beloved trees will remain, offering natural shade. Learn Through Play - this concept will ensure the equipment stimulates children physically, mentally, and emotionally while fostering creativity, imagination, and resilience.
