Mission Statement

Established in 2014, Francophonie Canadienne (FRAP) is a not for profit registered Canadian Charitable Organization. FRAP’s mission is to support diversity by fostering the social, cultural and economic inclusion of French-speaking newcomers to Alberta. FRAP offers settlement and integration services to French-speaking newcomers in community and in schools to help them face the challenge of settling to a predominantly English-speaking province. Membership is open to all members of the public.

About This Cause

FRAP programming falls into three categories – Settlement Services and Case Management, Settlement Services in Schools and Integration Services and Community Development. Programs serve newcomers directly - individuals and families - with permanent residents, accepted refugees, refugee claimants, international students, Canadian citizens, and work permit status.
