About This Cause
Helpi is an Israeli non-profit organization, based on an online platform for micro volunteering. We connect people with needs with people who want to help by offering short term, immediate volunteering opportunities. Imagine you have some time on Wednesdays and like to work with kids/elderly/you name it. We make the match between you and the person in need. Our mission and platform are based on the well-documented and studied idea that so many people want to volunteer but do not want to commit to anything that is long term, are baffled or intimidated by the bureaucracy, or just need a little push. Most people, we found out, want to do good things to help people around them if it can be easy and accessible. That is the point of Helpi.
