Mission Statement

Established in 2006, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust addresses the serious concerns about the plight of the UK’s bumblebee populations. We are the only UK charity dedicated entirely to supporting the conservation of bumblebees. Our expert team have a huge wealth of knowledge and experience in bumblebee ecology and conservation. Our vision is to create a world where bumblebees are thriving and valued by everyone. We aim to achieve this by engaging with communities, increasing countryside's rich in bumblebees and colourful wildflowers and supporting a diversity of wildlife and habitats for everyone to enjoy.

About This Cause

Backed by scientific research, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust are a small charity with several regionally based conservation projects located in Somerset, Devon, Kent, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and the West Midlands; as well as nationwide schemes, such as BeeWalk which monitors bumblebee populations and Bee the Change which encourages everyone to participate in making micro-changes which contribute to a combined positive difference.
