Putney Arts Theatre is an inclusive performance venue, providing creative & supportive theatrical opportunities for young people and adults, an inspiring space for its resident companies, a welcoming atmosphere for guest performers, and high quality involving entertainment for the local community.
About This Cause
Putney Arts Theatre is a community theatre serving a population of audiences and members from our local area and beyond. We are home to two resident theatre companies. Group 64 Theatre for Young People deliver all our work with children and Young People and Putney Theatre Company is an ambitious adult, amateur theatre company that creates a large number of productions each year both with our building and beyond. We offer classes, projects, productions and other theatre and arts based opportunities for Young People and make sure that cost does not become a barrier to joining in any activity for them through pay what you can schemes, scholarships and fee waiver options. We also work regularly with local schools to deliver arts education work. We offer free tickets to other local groups such as food banks and charities working with refugees and asylum seekers.
