Mission Statement
Simon King A.ternative Performing Arts is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation formed to advance and promote the performing arts for the public benefit and to provide a living memorial to Simon King, recently deceased musician, composer, exponent of musical theatre, and man of many talents.
About This Cause
Our charitable objects are: to advance and promote for the public benefit the performing arts generally and in particular but not exclusively, music, dance, speech and drama. To realise the objects the charity will organise live performing arts events that introduce the public to new and emerging performing artists and artists who defy easy categorisation; commission new writing and making of performing arts works; arrange educational workshops, lectures and debates; commission research into performing arts related fields; work with groups and individuals who support the aims of the charity; record and archive any events or activities organised for access by the general public.
