The Reading Foundation – Our Mission The Reading Foundation exists to advance education by supporting Reading School’s students, staff, and facilities, ensuring its continued excellence for future generations. We achieve this by: • Funding educational opportunities, including scholarships, bursaries, and school prizes, to enrich students’ academic and personal development. • Investing in school infrastructure, safeguarding and enhancing the historic site, buildings, and learning spaces. • Providing financial support for the spiritual, moral, mental, and physical well-being of students. • Managing and growing foundation assets responsibly, ensuring long-term sustainability through careful investment and stewardship. • Engaging with stakeholders, including the school, alumni, and the wider community, to align funding with educational priorities. Through strategic funding and careful stewardship, the Reading Foundation ensures that Reading School remains a centre of excellence, opportunity, and heritage for generations to come.
