Mission Statement
The mission of the Rochester Rotary Charitable Trust, Inc. is to make a difference in the lives of our members and in the lives of our community and world neighbors in need, with special emphasis on city young people and on people of all ages with disabilities.
About This Cause
In order to support our mission, the Rochester Rotary Charitable Trusts owns and operates the Sunshine Campus in Rush NY. This facility serves people of all ages with disabilities, city youth, the community and rotary members. During the prime time season our campus provides programs in conjunction with our community partners and our own two week program called Sunshine Camp for individuals with disabilities. The campus is available to other non profit groups during the year for retreats. The Sunshine Campus recently added the first Accessible Treehouse in the Finger Lake region and also a Sensory Stimulation Building which serves the needs of the increasing autistic population at the campus. Rochester Rotary Charitable Trusts Inc. also has an ongoing support program with School #8 in the city of Rochester, supports the mission of Rotary International Foundation and provides community support focused on youth and those with disabilities.
