Project Details

in January 2018 we reintroduced a group of red howers back into the wild in this unique area. This was not only a groundbreaking achievement, but more importantly be a huge impulse to restoring the natural balance of this area as they are important seed dispersers.
And with your help we want to repeat it!
We have managed to create a second group of howler monkeys that have reached the age to explore the jungle themselves. In order ensure their safety and learn more about their movement in the wild, we will create an observation team and put radiocollars on them so observers can track them post release.
Please contact us on info@merazonia.org for more info or questions.
