Mission Statement
United Voices of Literacy is dedicated to empowering students reading below grade level by nurturing confidence and skill through personalized tutoring. In safe, inclusive virtual classrooms, we transform learning into performance—guiding students to strengthen their reading abilities and shine through dramatic readings inspired by movies and notable persons. We create community collaborations to help individuals find their unique voices, providing them with the tools to lead, starting with their ability to READ.
About This Cause
United Voices of Literacy, Inc. (UVOLI) is a nonprofit organization committed to awakening the joy and confidence of reading in students who have fallen behind. With a heart for tradition and an eye toward innovation, UVOLI bridges literacy gaps through engaging, one-on-one tutoring and performance-based reading programs. Our signature initiative, Readers are Leaders, transforms virtual classrooms into stages of expression—where students build fluency, comprehension, and pride by bringing stories to life through dramatic readings inspired by movies. We foster safe, inclusive spaces where learners are seen, heard, and celebrated. Rooted in community, driven by compassion, and inspired by the power of voice, UVOLI is changing the narrative—one reader at a time.
