Fostr exists to empower Africans and allies in Big Tech and the startup ecosystem by fostering connection, collaboration, and shared growth. Through a values-driven community, we help members thrive professionally and personally—building bridges across cultures, companies, and continents.
About This Cause
Fostr Hub, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to creating space and opportunity for Africans and allies with experience in Big Tech and startups. Founded in 2024, Fostr is now home to a fast-growing community of over 500 members across 17+ African countries and 30+ top tech companies, including Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Netflix, and more. Our work is grounded in the belief that representation, community, and shared knowledge can unlock access and accelerate impact. We focus on four core pillars: Connection – Facilitating meaningful relationships through curated events, interest groups, and global networking opportunities. Collaboration – Offering members a platform to share knowledge, build products, and solve problems together. Mentorship & Growth – Supporting members with access to coaching, job referrals, and accountability pods that help them grow in their careers and ventures. Giving Back – Empowering the next generation of African talent through mentorship programs, storytelling, and support pathways into tech. Fostr also serves as a cultural bridge—bringing together Africans, African-Americans, Afro-Caribbeans, and allies to celebrate heritage, foster unity, and create a future where Black professionals thrive across the global tech landscape.
