Mission Statement
The mission of the Leelanau Conservancy is to conserve the land, water and scenic character of Leelanau County.
About This Cause
Since 1988, the Leelanau Conservancy has been preserving Leelanau's unique natural landscapes, working farms, pristine water quality, and sense of community. We have partnered with caring landowners, dedicated members, and public and private organizations to preserve over 11,000 acres of beautiful Leelanau County in northwest lower Michigan. Recognized as one of the nation's leading land trusts, we are grateful to serve as the conduit for those who love the Leelanau Peninsula, and want to preserve this special place for future generations.
