To foster an open, viable, and attractive community with mutual respect, appreciation, and cooperation among neighbors, including property owners, renters, and businesses.
About This Cause
The Windsor Park Neighborhood has been around since the 1950s, and the Windsor Park Neighborhood Association has been representing Windsor Park in Austin, Texas, since 1982. We advocate for the neighborhood by participating in city planning committees, attending City Council meetings and directly advocating with City Council members. We also pitch in to improve the livability in the area by helping out in our schools and churches, and keeping Bartholomew Park, and Pomerleau Park well-maintained, including adding new facilities like the the splash pad, and the sunscreen over the splash pad. We keep our neighbors informed through the neighborhood newsletter Window On Windsor which is delivered to approximately 2,000 homes each month by volunteers.
