Mission Statement
The Principia is a private school for Christian Scientists though Christian Science is not taught and the church does not operate or fund it. It is a non-profit school with two campuses – a pre-school through high school located in St. Louis, MO and a four-year College campus located in Elsah, IL. The school’s tax-exempt status is assigned to The Principia Corporation and is defined under section 501 © (3). The school has been in existence for more than one hundred years and it was founded to educate the whole-man academically, spiritually, morally, physically, and socially.
