About This Cause
Kansas City Hospice & Palliative care is a not-for-profit organization providing expert care, peace of mind, comfort, guidance and hope to the people of our community. We are a 501(c)(3). A Commitment to Kansas City – KC’s original hospice, devoted to our community since 1980, with a local focus and local board. Unmatched expertise – a team of palliative medicine physicians and APRNs head up an award-winning expert staff. Unparalleled volunteers – over 400 dedicated volunteers bring such a breadth of services to patients and families. Comfort for families – Solace House, Camp Erin, Camp Carousel and bereavement specialists offer comfort to children, individuals and families. Dedicated care for children – special skills and special hearts to care for seriously ill children and their families, even before birth. A place almost like home – Kansas City Hospice House provides a haven for patients and families alike.
