Mission Statement
Barb's Dog Rescue is an Arizona Non-Profit which operates in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico, providing a variety of services to many abandoned and suffering dogs. Services include health care, spay & neuter and socialization so as to make the dogs candidates for adoption. The demand for the facility is such that at times as many as 200 dogs are being cared for. With the assistance of other non-profits many are transported to the United States or even Canada for adoption. The care and attention which Barb gives each dog is truly unique. The amount of animal suffering in Puerto Penasco has definitely diminished because of Barb’s herculean efforts.

Barb's Dog Rescue is an Arizona Non-Profit operates in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico to serve abandoned and suffering dogs throughout the community. Its services provide health care and spay & neuter. Many of the dogs are successfully adopted and find their forever homes in the United States. Those with a low adoption potential enjoy large areas where they can run, play, and be socialized.
