Build strong leaders for tomorrow. We use soccer to create opportunities for kids from under-resourced populations to become active, confident and well-rounded leaders in their communities.
About This Cause
A global not-for-profit organization that uses the “world’s game” of soccer to empower the social and personal growth of young players, including nurturing positive values. Formed in 2015 as the charitable arm of the bilingual LaGolda the animation, it is also a character in the series and brings the animated stories to life. SOG was founded by Lodi, NJ native George Valencia, award winning Dominican-American actor Judy Reyes from the Bronx, Puerto Rican born actor Roselyn Sanchez and start of ABC’s The Rookie, Eric Winter. The SOG Foundation has provided support to kids and organizations across the United States, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and Colombia.
