Mission Statement
Our mission is to save the honeybees and pollinators through unwanted honeybee removal and relocation, public education and primarily habitat restoration which we carry out by providing valuable hands on volunteer opportunities for community residents of all ages and race. Volunteers get hands on learning opportunities on habitat loss, preparing healthy soil, planting, mulching, plant growth requirements and how healthy habitats help to support our disappearing honeybees.
About This Cause
We believe in having a proactive boots on the ground approach to saving the honeybees and pollinators and do this by targeting open fields, plots or utility strips in residential areas and transform the area by digging up the unproductive dry grass and replanting it with healthy pesticide free pollinator habitat. Our programs bring together and strengthen communities by providing outdoor active volunteer opportunities which benefit residents of all ages and race, especially youth who learn about how important the honeybees and pollinators are as well as becoming good environmental stewards. Success is proven with our pollinator pathway projects by having honeybees, bumblebees, native bees, butterflies and other pollinators showing up usually within the first day of completion where previously there was only dry unproductive grass.
