Project Details
Our Mission: To transform individuals, families, and communities out of poverty into lasting well-being by connecting bright minds to complex challenges plaguing people around the globe.
Since our inception, skill-based volunteer trips have been an integral part of our work. Our volunteers travel to work on projects in partnership with communities in Africa, Europe, and Asia annually. Through our volunteer programs, we are upskilling and training community members in Rwanda to increase economic opportunity and reduce child abandonment; designing innovative solutions to improve mobility, education, and community integration for children with disabilities in India; providing young adults in Romania who grew up in institutional care with skills and resiliency training to improve their job prospects and lead them to a more prosperous and hopeful future; and upskilling and empowering women who were formally trafficked in Nepal to prevent them from being trafficked again.
Venture 2 Impact, is an organization and a movement that started in 2006 to help communities globally break the cycle of poverty. Our approach to development takes more than just material poverty into account. We address issues of isolation, vulnerability, powerlessness, physical weakness, among other forms of poverty. We aspire to create an environment where local communities and our volunteers can grow.
