Mission Statement
The mission at United Stroke Alliance is to develop and implement programs that educate people across the globe on the Prevention, Awareness and Recovery for stroke. Our goals are to help people understand how to P.L.A.N. Smart, Act F.A.S.T. and Take C.A.R.E. of your loved ones. Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp is a division of United Stroke Alliance. The mission of Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp is to improve the quality of life for stroke survivors, caregivers, and their families. This is accomplished through weekend retreats, as well as community stroke education and awareness events for the public.
About This Cause
Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp has been providing weekend retreats for stroke survivors and their caregivers since 2004. The weekends focus on education, socialization, relaxation, and support and are as much for the caregiver as they are for the survivor. United Stroke Alliance is the parent organization of both Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp and Strike Out Stroke.
