Mission Statement
The El Salitre Women's and Children's Center began as a systemic approach to solve the many problems that plague the women and children in the El Salitre community.
About This Cause
The El Salitre Women's and Children's Center Offers Systemic Support for the Families of El Salitre to lift them from generational poverty by providing · A safe place for women of El Salitre to learn, work, and earn a living salary; · A safe place for preschool children to be cared for so their mothers can work and their siblings attend school; · A gathering place after school for children to study, play, and learn life skills including cooking and gardening.
