Mission Statement
Libraries for the World envisions a world in which all people have the opportunity to learn to read. Libraries for the World changes lives by collaborating with local partners to build libraries and support literacy efforts around the world.
About This Cause
Libraries for the World partners with schools and non-profit organizations to build school and community libraries in Uganda, Guatemala, and Tanzania. We work with local partners to sponsor children's education in vulnerable communities. We train library staff in library management, programming, and outreach to empower local communities, creating a brighter future free of illiteracy.
