The mission of APESF is to graciously serve Arizona families by providing tuition assistance for their children's private education while honoring the generosity of every donor.
About This Cause
The Arizona Private Education Scholarship Fund is a School Tuition Organization (STO) developed under the guidelines provided in the Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit Law of 1997. APESF was founded and incorporated in 1998 to provide educational scholarships to students attending private K-12 schools in the state of Arizona. The organization serves all shapes, sizes, religious affiliations and specializations of private school in Arizona. In its first awarding year, APESF granted 157 scholarships totaling $151,135. Last fiscal year, it awarded over $4 million in scholarships to 2,334 students. As the program has grown and developed unique intricacies, APESF has evolved (when necessary) to adhere to state guidelines but has been consistently serving its stakeholders for the last 17 years.
