Mission Statement
Islamic Center of Monroe (ICOM) is a non-profit organization that provides social services, educational services, youth programs, and community support services to residents of Monroe WA and surrounding communities. The organization’s mission and guidance for those services are rooted in the teachings of quran an sunnah in serving humanity and protecting the environment.
About This Cause
ICOM offers a variety of educational and social programs for the benefit of the community, with a focus on children and youth. In addition, ICOM participates in social activities and events like feeding the homeless, helping the needy, adopt-a-highway, conducting open houses and inviting visitors to the center. Our youth focus through the Safwah program is focused on building young community members as futures leaders that are nourished socially, mentally, and physically, through guided educational programs and fun activities.
