Mission Statement
Fairview Elementary is a part of the Hayward Unified School District and serves over 600 students from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Over 60% of Fairview families qualify for low-income status; however, continuous parent involvement, teacher commitment, and family workshops enable students to achieve their academic goals at school and at home. Fairview also supports an onsite state preschool program, and a Deaf and hard-of- hearing Total Communication program from toddler years through sixth grade.
About This Cause
All funds raised are used for study field trips, enrichment programs, school clubs, student achievement awards, music supplies, and band instrument rentals. Fairview PTA has two additional stretch goals: 1) Bring art into classrooms, 2) Beautify the campus with school murals from local artists and students.
