The Washington Apple Education Foundation is the charity of the tree fruit industry. Our mission is to impact lives through access to education.
About This Cause
The Washington Apple Education Foundation (WAEF) annually awards about $1 million in scholarships to kids with ties to Washington's tree fruit industry. The majority of our scholarship recipients are first in their families to attend college, and in multiple instances, they are the first to graduate from high school. In addition to financial support, WAEF provides ongoing encouragement and career planning assistance to boost student success.
