Volunteers can select items from a common list or Cradles to Crayons can provide individual "shopping lists" designed around any particular price point. The 11th Annual Forever in Our Hearts Remembrance Day will take place in October to honor the nationally recognized month of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness. This Remembrance Day is to honor families who have lost babies through pregnancy, stillbirth, or in early infancy.

This event is an opportunity to bring honor to our babies and healing to our hearts. Having the opportunity to gather together and receive support from friends and family in memory of our babies is even more important after the last year. We hope that it offers families a platform to speak their babies’ names and also to increase awareness of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness during the month of October.

For the past 10 years, hundreds of parents along with their loved ones have joined us to walk in
remembrance of their children. This year we will hold the event at the W.G. Lunney Lake Farm Park in Madison, Wisconsin. The event will include a memorial service where each baby’s name is read and a remembrance walk. We offer event t-shirts remembering each baby’s name, a memorial video online, and a Facebook event page where families can post their experiences and connect with other families who are participating in remembrance of their babies. This provides a wonderful way for parents to connect with other people who have lost a child whether it was a recent loss, or one that occurred years ago. This event is not just a remembrance, but a celebration of each life, no matter
how long or short.
