Cause:This holiday season, Reignbo’s Friends is raising funds to help one deserving family purchase a ZPod bed — a sensory-friendly sleep solution designed specifically for children with autism. These beds promote restful sleep, reduce nighttime wandering, and provide a safe and calming space. Our goal is to raise enough funds by December 15th to deliver this life-changing gift by Christmas morning.
Volunteer Tasks:
While the primary goal is monetary donations, volunteers can support by:
Sharing the donation campaign on social media, email, or community groups
Hosting a mini virtual fundraiser or “giving challenge”
Designing and sharing promotional graphics or messages
Encouraging friends, coworkers, or networks to contribute
Time Commitment:
1–2 hours per week (flexible and virtual) through mid-December

Blue Door is in the final stages of preparing its 2024 Annual Impact Report, a vital tool for engaging and stewarding our donors, partners, and community stakeholders. We are reaching out to BMO with an opportunity for employees to support this important project by helping assemble and prepare mailer packages that will be sent to key supporters of Blue Door. This hands-on volunteer activity plays a crucial role in sharing the impact of their support and strengthening our community relationships.
Volunteer Activity Details
Blue Door is asking for 4 volunteers to support with our 2024 Annual Report Mailer. Volunteers will support the assembly of Blue Door’s 2024 Annual Impact Report Mailer, an essential stewardship project that shares the tangible impact of our donors’ and supporters’ contributions. This in-person volunteer activity involves preparing, organizing, and packaging mailers that will be distributed to stakeholders across our community. Volunteers will play an important role in ensuring that each package is prepared with care and attention to detail, helping Blue Door express gratitude and maintain meaningful connections with our supporters.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Folding printed reports
- Stuffing envelopes with reports and letters
- Applying mailing labels and stamps
- Organizing completed mailers for courier or Canada Post delivery
- Assisting with light workspace cleanup after the task is complete
Appropriate Attire:
- Comfortable, casual clothing
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended for safety and comfort
- No special safety equipment is required

Materials, Training or Tools Volunteers Need to Supply:
None, all materials, trainings and tools, including envelopes, labels, stamps, pens, tape, and printed reports, will be provided by Blue Door. Volunteers are only asked to bring their enthusiasm and attention to detail.

Project DetailsWe are seeking a dedicated group of up to 10 volunteers to assist Dress for Success in organizing and preparing our boutique for the upcoming fall stock. Volunteers will help sort through current donations, remove summer clothing from the racks, hang and merchandise new items, and organize accessories, jewelry, shoes, handbags, and more.
Additionally, we are excited to announce the launch of our first annual Community Clothing Drive Competition and Fashion Show, encouraging volunteer support and awareness; we need your support in making it a success. The Client Advocate/ EWYL Facilitator at Horizon Pregnancy Clinic and Mobile is responsible for the education, emotional support, and assistance of clients at the Clinic. Job Responsibilities
Client-Related Responsibilities:
1. Greet clients and complete intake forms relevant to client needs. Provide emotional support in a pleasant and non-judgmental tone. Maintain a pleasant and courteous voice with clients, offering assistance, especially to abortion-vulnerable clients.
2. Familiarize yourself with referral files/binder and be able to efficiently give information to clients. Provide education and referrals related to adoption, post-abortion healing, social services, and other areas of need.
3. Provide education and guidance in the areas of abstinence, secondary virginity, contraception, and STDs, as well as in the areas of fetal development and abortion.
4. Provide clients with needed material goods, including but not limited to clothing, cribs, new car seats, and other baby items.
5. Pray with clients and discuss their spiritual relationships, encouraging them to seek an active relationship with Jesus Christ.
Office Responsibilities:
1. Charting in client files in EKYROS after every appointment.
2. Making copies for EWYL and other forms in client files.
3. Assist staff with opening or closing of office as stated in “Opening/Closing Procedures" in Blue Bessie.
4. Attend volunteer meetings and outreach events, increasing knowledge of client support and services offered.
5. Complete other relevant duties as assigned by staff and volunteers.
Job Requirements

JA CareerIgnite is the culminating experience in Junior Achievement’s K–12 program continuum, designed to prepare high school students for life after graduation by connecting them to four postsecondary pathways: Employment, Enrollment, Enlistment, and Entrepreneurship. This immersive, site-based event helps students explore career opportunities, build confidence, and engage directly with industry professionals.The upcoming JA CareerIgnite event will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM at Franklin Central High School and will serve over 2,600 students in grades 10–12.
We are seeking a $1,500 budget request from BMO to help offset program costs, including curriculum, printing, event materials, and hospitality for volunteers and presenters.
JA is inviting five BMO employees to participate in the event through volunteer engagement to support event logistics:
- 2 to assist with company check-in and registration.
- 3 to escort company representatives to tables, help with setup, provide hospitality (refreshments, answering questions, and directing traffic).
If BMO would like to host a booth and be featured in a career pathway, we would welcome two additional volunteers who can stay until 2:00 PM to engage with students throughout the full event day—sharing your company’s story, highlighting the skills needed for success, promoting internships and future career opportunities, and inspiring the next generation of talent.
