The mission of Wikimedia Australia is to support the mission of the Wikimedia Foundation, to empower and engage people around the world to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively and globally.
About This Cause
Wikimedia Australia supports our members, the broader community and partner organisations to contribute to Wikipedia, Wikidata and other Wikimedia open knowledge platforms through events, training and partnerships. We work to increase the diversity of participants participating in online and face to face activities, in terms of gender, region, language, and topics/sectors of interest.
