To contribute to the environmental conservation of the Amazon Rainforest by valuing the standing forest, its biodiversity, and improving the quality of life of riverside communities, associated with the implementation of knowledge about sustainable development.

About This Cause

Created in 2008, the Foundation for a Sustainable Amazon (FAS) is a civil society and non-profit organization that promotes sustainable development in the Amazon. Recognized as a social welfare entity, FAS works to guarantee the rights of traditional populations and indigenous peoples through research, development and innovation. Our purpose is to perpetuate a living Amazon Forest, with everyone and for everyone.
