Mission CAMHS provides a continuum of community-based services, including assessment, treatment, education and support, for persons with mental illness and/or addiction concerns within Haldimand and Norfolk Counties.

About This Cause

Community Addiction and Mental Health Services of Haldimand and Norfolk provides community-based mental health services for people aged 16 and older and addiction services for people of all ages. Services include assessment, counselling, consultation, support and advocacy. Individual and group counselling is available. The length of counselling is determined by each client’s situation. When another community partner is better suited to assist, every effort is made to ensure a smooth linkage to that resource. Services are provided by an interdisciplinary team of professionals. CAMHS is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care through Ontario Health West. CAMHS currently offers the following programs: Achieve: Mental Health Wellness & Recovery Centre Addictions Adult Mental Health Addiction Mobile Outreach Team (AMOT) Crisis Assessment Service Team (CAST) Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Team (MCRRT) Specialized Geriatric Services Telemedicine Services Vision CAMHS is a leader in community mental health and addiction services, supporting the wellness and recovery journey.
