About This Cause
Capilano Community Services Society (CCSS) is a registered, not-for-profit charitable society with a mission to foster safe, inclusive, vibrant, and healthy communities where individuals and families can thrive. CCSS provides engaging, low-cost and no cost family, youth, and seniors’ programs and support services for North Shore residents who are vulnerable or living in conditions of risk. Our programs are supported by over 60+ volunteers, making our volunteer program integral to our operations. CCSS also operates the Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) and provides administrative support four other local non-profit partner organizations. Collaborating with other community organizations, our programming builds capacity for social programs and services, across the North Shore.
