About This Cause
The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg (TCHW) is a fully accredited (non-profit/registered charity) personal care “home” to 84 Residents dedicated to providing holistic care to each which contributes to their physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. We provide: - 24-hour nursing and personal care with two visiting physicians - Social work services - Financial services - Spiritual care (through the auspices of affiliated community churches/church leaders and volunteers) - Ancillary health care including Foot Care and Dental Care - Meals/snacks (all prepared/cooked onsite) - Laundry services - Therapeutic Recreational programs based on our Residents' preferences - Special events for holiday and seasonal celebrations - Hairdressing services - Continual staff training and development - Volunteer recruitment and involvement - Quarterly Newsletter
