Mission Statement
The Youth Centre is a safe haven for youth ages 9-17 to come and hang out after school or in the evening during the week. During the course of the year, youth are encouraged to participate in a variety of recreational activities such as sports, cooking nights, minute to win it, science nights, fear factor, outdoor games, crafts, book club and activities of their choice! The Dundas Youth Centre encourages healthy living and positive attitudes.
About This Cause
The Dundas Youth Centre is a part of the Glengarry Inter Agency Group (GIAG). The GIAG is a non profit community based organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We provide programs and services to residents of all ages across SD&G and Akwesasne. It is our mission to engage our community in work, play and the realization of personal potential. Other programs that are operated by the GIAG include the Ontario Early Years Centre, The Learning Centre and the North Glengarry Youth Centre.
