About This Cause
Renfrew Educational Services will be celebrating 50 years of service to children and their families this coming year. As this milestone is reached Renfrew is embarking on our new project to revolutionize education for students with severe disabilities. It is with great excitement that Renfrew reveals its plan to expand services to Junior and Senior High School students. A long-time vision comes to fruition as land for this Legacy School is secured. Renfrew Educational Services is an innovative, not for profit, registered charity offering a broad range of specialized programs and services. Since its inception in 1974, it has grown to be a dynamic, organization and is recognized as a leader in best practices for children and youth with disabilities. Currently with four school locations across Calgary we support over six hundred students. With a 20-year history in outreach services Renfrew’s Community Services department presently provides programs for over 10,000 students among fifty-two contracts as well as services on the Stoney Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. Renfrew Educational Services believes in opportunities for all and has worked endlessly to ensure that our mantra of ‘Helping Kids Soar’ continues to be in the forefront of our mission which is evident as we embark on this new project.
