Mission Statement: “The Salvation Army Grace Mansion exists to provide safe, secure transitional housing to men and women in a clean and sober environment. Inspired by God’s love, we exist to be a transforming influence in the lives of our residents, and in our community.”
About This Cause
Grace Mansion provides supportive transitional housing. We seek to provide opportunity for personal growth and stabilization time. Our goal is to help people transition from homelessness or addiction treatment or mental health issues or women fleeing abuse or other background issues; to some form of long term housing. Central to our operation is our Personal Development Plan program, which every resident is required to participate in. Our staff work with residents to develop goals and then act as a ‘coach’ to encourage the residents along the path to their goals, and help them to find relevant resources. Grace Mansion has 84 bachelor suite type units. Each unit is equipped for independent living, complete with fridge, stove and washroom. Maximum length of stay is 24 months
