Mission Statement

Since its opening in 2002, CPE La Porte Ouverte has always been guided by the same mission: To provide quality educational services to children and families from the community. PLAY, GROW, AND THRIVE is a fantastic adventure full of surprises in which everyone is personally committed to offering a welcoming, stimulating, enjoyable, non-discriminatory, and violence-free environment. The health, safety, and well-being of children are integral to the quality of all services provided by our competent and dedicated staff. Early childhood is a privileged time in life where each child gains satisfaction that allows them to flourish. PLAY, GROW, AND THRIVE forms the heart of CPE. It is in this playful spirit that all actions of the environment converge. It fuels the energy that characterizes us. CPE La Porte Ouverte implements an educational program from the Ministry of Family, "Welcoming Early Childhood," which includes activities aimed at: Promoting the overall development of the child by allowing them to develop all dimensions of their person, notably on the affective and social, cognitive, language, physical, and motor levels; Gradually bringing the child to adapt to group life and integrate harmoniously into it. The educational program also includes promotion and prevention services aimed at providing the child with an environment conducive to the development of healthy lifestyle habits, healthy eating habits, and behaviors that positively influence their health and well-being.
