To reduce the impact of poverty on children. We work with local partners internationally and in Canada to enhance the well-being of children and the self-sufficiency of their families and communities. Canadian Feed The Children provides a bridge between those who can help and those who need help.

Our Vision: A world in which children thrive, free of poverty. Canadian Feed The Children (CFTC) is an award-winning registered Canadian charity that envisions a world where children thrive free from poverty. Charity Intelligence recently rated Canadian Feed The Children a 5 Star 2022 Impact Charity and named CFTC a Top 10 Impact Charity in Canada for 2019 for our financial transparency, accountability, cost efficiency and social impact. We have been taking action against childhood hunger for over 35 years. We partner with 30 Indigenous communities in Canada as well communities in Bolivia, Ethiopia, Ghana and Uganda. CFTC has been working to improve the lives of Indigenous children and their families for more than 25 years in Canada. We act as catalysts of community-based change through the development and empowerment of our partners and beneficiaries. We work in the areas of food security, food sovereignty, climate action, gender equality, livelihoods, education and community engagement. Canadian Feed The Children is a registered Canadian charity that reduces the impact of poverty on children, thanks to the kind contributions of individuals and organizations. We are the bridge between caring Canadians and the children we support together. In partnership with community-based groups, we help increase the well-being of children and the self-sufficiency of families and communities by improving long-term access to nutrition, education, health care and livelihood. Our organizational name is similar to that of other charities, which sometimes causes confusion. We are an independent Canadian organization, overseen by a dedicated board of directors. We are not affiliated with Feed The Children Inc., headquartered in Oklahoma USA, nor its Canadian affiliate, FTC Canada, which recently began operations out of Guelph, ON. We believe that Canadians are passionate about the need to eliminate poverty so all children can thrive in strong families and communities. Accountability We understand the importance of our integrity to our donors, our partners and each other in all matters relating to our programs, administration and fundraising. We are reliable and will spend the money entrusted to us wisely. Effectiveness We set achievable program goals and set high standards for ourselves and our partners. We also believe that development work should be environmentally and economically sustainable and should not jeopardize the well-being of future generations.
