Mission Statement
Capilano University (CapU) is a teaching-focused university offering a wide range of programs and services that enable students to succeed in their studies, in their chosen careers, in their lifelong pursuit of knowledge and in their contribution as responsible citizens in a rapidly changing and diverse global community.
About This Cause
Incorporated in 1970, the Capilano University Foundation is the registered entity for receiving donations to Capilano University. The Foundation is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Foundation manages endowments established by donors to provide support to students. These funds are invested and the interest is expended annually to support the programs or students as directed by the donor(s) at the time the funds were created. The Foundation also manages many annual funds whereby the full amount given by a donor each year is passed along directly to that program or scholarship
