About This Cause
The Christian Senior Citizens Home Society of Northern Alberta, which operates a facility known as Emmanuel Home in Edmonton, provides a place where residents can live life to the fullest! We offer independent living and assisted living for Edmonton seniors in a supportive and loving Christian retirement community. Residents enjoy beautiful courtyards and grounds, spacious and comfortable suites, a diverse range of recreational programs and activities and a caring, dedicated staff. Our housing for seniors can accommodate those who desire independent living as well as those who require more care through assisted living facilities. All our residents benefit from our health care program, provided through Alberta Health Services, that includes care from Certified Health Care Aides and/or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Every suite has 24-hour emergency call service and a Registered Nurse is always available on call. Providing more than just seniors’ housing and healthcare, Emmanuel Home is committed to meeting the physical, social and spiritual needs of residents in our Christian community. We employ a Recreation Coordinator who provides a wide range of programs and activities including fitness and exercise programs, entertainment, social events and outings to attractions, events and activities throughout our community and the City of Edmonton.
