Mission Statement
The Good Companions is an incorporated, charitable organization in Ottawa dedicated to promoting, enhancing and supporting the zest for living, well-being and independence of older adults as well as adults with physical disabilities.
About This Cause
The Good Companions supports a vibrant community with physical, social, artistic, recreational and educational programs and also offers very affordable nutritious meals. The Good Companions helps seniors in the community live independently with such supports as daily assurance calls, friendly visits, a grocery program as well as indoor and outside seasonal work. Our key priorities include reducing isolation, creating connections, supporting seniors to stay active and engaged, and helping them remain safely in their own homes as long as possible.
