About This Cause

Hospice Calgary provides support to Calgary area communities and throughout Southern Alberta via 3 centres of care: Children's Grief Centre: Individual and group counselling as well as support groups that guide grieving children, teens, and families as they face advanced illness and/or death of someone close to them (including sudden or accidental deaths). Rosedale Hospice: Located in the quiet NW neighbourhood of Rosedale, this 7-bed home-like hospice provides 24-hour end-of-life care for adult cancer patients, as well as grief and bereavement support to their loved ones. Living with Advanced Illness Centre: We provide emotional support for adults, and their family members, as they navigate advanced illness. In addition to our three centres of care, Hospice Calgary provides educational lectures and accredited workshops online and in-person, which are available to members of the public, schools and client groups. Digital resources and tools are available on our website specifically developed to support and inform grieving children, teens, and their families, adults living with any advanced illness their family members, and families supporting or having just experienced the end-of-life of a loved one.
