Mission Statement

Canada World Youth (CWY) is a world leader in developing international educational programs for young people. Founded in 1971, Canada World Youth is an international non-profit youth development organization. Our expertise in youth engagement and development has allowed us to grow our community to close to 40,000 alumni spanning 69 countries. We believe that supporting youth’s agency and investing in young people to participate in transformative learning experiences, creates longer-lasting impact on themselves and societies.

About This Cause

CWY provides global programs for youth looking to gain leadership experience through participation in community-driven development projects. Our main programs are EQWIP HUBs, Global Learner, including projects in China and Poland, and the Indigenous Youth Leadership Program.
