About This Cause
Kababayan Multicultural Centre (KMC) is a non-profit settlement organization dedicated to helping newcomers and immigrants integrate into Canadian society. Funded by various levels of the Canadian government – federal, provincial, and city – KMC has been a steadfast advocate for a diverse community comprising newcomers, youth, families, women, and seniors for 46 years. Our approach is centered, offering services through a hybrid model of in-person and online interactions. To accommodate our diverse clientele, we provide services in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Farsi, Nepali, Spanish, and Tagalog. Our comprehensive range of services includes settlement and employment support, tailored to individual needs through one-on-one counseling, group information sessions & workshops, and referrals to other relevant organizations. KMC also addresses critical challenges faced by our clients, such as social isolation and family reunification, by offering specialized programs designed to meet these specific needs.
