Mission Statement
The Labrador Friendship Centre will endeavor to provide the best possible services to enrich the lives of the Inuit, Innu, and Metis of Labrador through the provision and implementation of social, cultural, health,educational, employment, and developmental initiatives.
About This Cause
The Labrador Friendship Centre has been incorporated since 1977. We provide programs and services to Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Individuals in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Programs & Services span all age groups including but not limited to Aboriginal Family Centre, Community Youth Network, Healthy Baby Club, Assisted Living Program, Hostel and Cafeteria, Food Bank, Seniors' Van, as well as social activities and referral services. The Centre is governed by an elected 10 member volunteer Board of Directors.
