Mission Statement

The Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba empowers individuals with learning disabilities and ADHD to build confidence, independence, and a strong sense of self. Through advocacy, support, and specialized programming, we walk alongside children, youth, and adults on their journey to reach their potential—because everyone deserves to learn in a way that works for them.

About This Cause

Everyone deserves the chance to learn—and to be understood. At the Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba, we walk alongside children, youth, and adults with learning disabilities and ADHD, offering support, advocacy, and life-changing programs that open doors and rebuild confidence. For many of the individuals we support, everyday tasks—like following directions, staying organized, or making friends—can feel overwhelming. Struggles with reading, planning, or impulse control can lead to isolation, low self-esteem, and missed opportunities. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We offer literacy tutoring, social skills development, support groups, parent workshops, and one-on-one guidance to help individuals and families feel seen, supported, and empowered. We also work to reduce stigma and raise awareness—because understanding changes everything. Your support helps someone take that first brave step toward reaching their potential.
