About This Cause
Situated in the Plateau Mont Royal area of Montreal since 1974 and operating out of a former Jewish school on Duluth avenue as a community Centre. Its programs have evolved over the years according to needs , assets and demographical changes in the neighborhood. As a community Centre we have responded to citizens request for support whether to create a daycare now independent, to support the creation of an organization supporting victims of torture, partnering with the creation of an emergency shelter for refugee claimants, creating a farmers market for our area or a small street musical festival. The list goes on.
