Mission Statement
MLGC is a summer camp committed to providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere to our campers. Our camp accepts everyone, regardless of their cultural background, gender, ethnicity, and religion. We strive to give a clear representation of the truth of Jesus Christ, including the good news of His death and Resurrection. At MLGC, you can expect to create new and lasting memories, with new or life-long friends.
About This Cause
Established in 1934, MLGC offers camp to children, youth and families. Each week is catered to the needs of the individuals who are attending, as we seek to create memories that will last lifetime! At camp, you can expect the opportunity to try something new, whether that means learning to canoe, horseback ride, or play a new game. We offer trampolines, boating, tubing, crafts, campfires, mug-up (hot chocolate & cookies), and of course, chapel services. Each week campers can expect to sleep in a cabin with a group of new friends, including a cabin leader (who has gone through Plan to Protect, as well as having a current criminal record check). Summer camps have been proven to make positive impacts, and that is exactly wha we strive to do at MLGC!
